The cables what we used is must be designed for a nominal load of 1.3 times the max. load. The same applies to the shackles and other connecting components. All load-securing components must comply with the appropriate standards, be identified and be controlled at least once a year by an authori zed official and the results documented.
When we equipping the masts, pay attention that only those parts are installed prior to the cable laying procedure which do not interfere with the actual laying process.
Installation of the rollers must be completed so that the pulling cable and OPGW cable run into and out of the rollers centered. The pulling cable and OPGW cable must not make contact with the mast during installation. It may be necessary to use an extension arm to mount the rollers the required distance from the mast, particularly in the case of angle masts.
The buffer tubes are filled with grease to protect the fiber unit from water and to protect the steel tube from corrosion, the interstices of the cable are filled with grease.
